Goal

Our collaboration focused on redesigning and developing a modern, premium website for the client, while migrating their hosting from WordPress to Webflow. This included integrating their blog post content management system (CMS) into the new platform.

Challenge

The tight project timeline and time zone difference between our teams (India and Hungary) demanded creative communication solutions. We successfully adopted a blend of asynchronous and real-time methods, optimizing communication effectiveness and productivity.

Outcome

The project delivered a completely revamped website hosted on Webflow, empowering the client's marketing team with easy content management while preserving search engine rankings and blog posts from the previous site.

Workshops we facilitated

During the Discovery phase we held 8 workshops to determine key goals for the website. We established who the main users are and created a new informational architecture and a design direction based on their needs.

Main topics covered

  • Website vision and strategy
  • User persona
  • Branding and visual direction
  • Content and communication
  • Customer journey

Outcome of the phase

  • Clear UI direction based on selected Moodboards
  • Revamped informational architecture
  • Clear goals for the new website

Wireframing and UI design

Wireframing phase

We created the wireframes and prototypes for each of the pages for testing purposes. The outcome and results of these tests meant we had information on what sections to change for the next iteration and what to keep. The outcome was:

  1. 3 iterations of wireframes
  2. 2 rounds of testing with prototypes
  3. 12 final pages with their layouts set in place

UI Design phase

In order to finish the designs of the new website we still had work to do. In this phase we created designs for all breakpoints and devices. The outcome was:

  1. Finished high-fidelity UI designs for desktop, tablet and mobile
  2. 1 round of testing with a prototype
Final screens: a straightforward design

Webflow implementation and handover

The last phase of the project was building and launching the new website

  1. Blog posts migration from Wordpress to Webflow to keep search engine rankings
  2. Workshops and knowledge sharing about Webflow
  3. Cross-platform and cross-browser testing
  4. 301 redirects set up for search engine optimisation
  5. 2 week free of charge guarantee period after launch
